John Smith聽& Son鈥� the UK鈥檚 leading academic and specialist bookselling chain鈥� are taking over the campus bookshop.
The new shop鈥� which will be headed by Tony Newson as General Manager鈥� opens on Wednesday 26 August and will stock a full range of textbooks and secondary academic books鈥� as well as eTextbooks鈥� fiction and general non fiction titles. The bookshop will also carry a comprehensive range of non鈥揵ook lines which have proved popular with students in other John Smith鈥檚 university shops such as stationery鈥� diaries and planners鈥� digital products鈥� including laptops and medical equipment. There will also be a 鈥淩efresher Zone鈥� on the upper floor鈥� featuring hot and cold refreshments鈥� seating and free wi鈥揻i access.
A 鈥楤ack to University鈥� campaign for the start of the new academic year will include special offers and exclusive bundle deals on selected key textbooks; discount promotions on bestselling student series and study skills books; and a 3 for 2 promotion across a wide selection of essential stationery items. A team from John Smith鈥檚 will also be attending the Fresher鈥檚 Fair.
