For 2010鈥� Stephen Payne OBE鈥� Royal Designer of Industry鈥� the Vice President Newbuilding and Chief Naval Architect of Carnival will give the talk on 鈥淔rom the Titanic to the QM2鈥�. Stephen Payne was the lead designer of Cunard Line鈥檚 Queen Mary 2.
Garry Momber鈥� the Director of the Hampshire and Wight Trust for Maritime Archaeology will give a talk on 鈥淲recks in the Solent鈥�. Hampshire and Wight Trust for Maritime Archaeology promotes interest, research and knowledge of maritime archaeology and heritage in Great Britain, with core activities focused in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight and the adjacent South Coast areas.
There will also be a short conducted tour of the Oceanography Centre as part of the Lecture series.
