MARROW Southampton – Donor recruitment event in The Cube – Tuesday 11 May

Marrow Southampton‚ a group of University of Southampton students working with the Anthony Nolan Trust in the fight against Leukaemia‚ are holding a clinic tomorrow (Tuesday 11 May) to try a find a donor for 14–year old Alice Pyne, who has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and desperately needs a bone marrow transplant to save her life.

The clinic is being run from 4pm to 8pm in the Middle Bar of The Cube and staff and students are welcome.

It will be a saliva clinic, so instead of giving a blood sample all you’ll have to do is ‘spit a bit’.

Please make the effort to come and register, it will only take 15 minutes and even if you’re not a match for Alice there are thousands of other children and adults in desperate need of a donor.

Marrow is a UK Charity run by students which recruits university students to the Anthony Nolan Trust Bone Marrow Register. It also raises money for the trust.
