The University鈥檚 Registrar and Chief Operating Officer鈥� Simon Higman鈥� has been appointed Registrar and Director of Operations at Royal Holloway鈥� University of London. Simon will take up his new post on 1 January 2011.
聽Vice鈥揅hancellor鈥� Professor Don Nutbeam鈥� says: 鈥淪imon has provided outstanding leadership in the roles he has performed at the University over the past three years. He leaves us with our very best wishes to take on an equally demanding role at Royal Holloway.
聽鈥淎t this time of change in the higher education sector, I will be taking the opportunity to consult with senior staff and members of Council as to the future configuration of the role of Registrar and Chief Operating Officer, before we begin the recruitment process for Simon鈥檚 replacement.鈥�
