Members of staff are invited to submit nominations for the award of an honorary degree. In addition鈥� the University has established a new award听entitled 鈥楩ellow of the University鈥欌�毺齱hich听you can听also submit nominations for.
The nomination forms are available from听Gillian James (g.james@soton.ac.uk) and the forms should be returned to her when completed.
Please ensure that complete confidentiality is observed: in no circumstances should a person nominated be informed that their name has been put forward. The University is able to confer honorary Masters鈥� degrees, as well as doctorates, and this should be taken into account in considering possible nominations.
The criteria to be used in making nominations are contained in the respective forms. The deadline for receipt of nominations in the Secretariat is Wednesday, 17 November 2010.
