15 November‚ 12 noon – 4.30pm: Breaking Boundaries III
This exciting half–day event will showcase the challenges‚ pitfalls and successes of innovation and enterprise in translational medicine. A number of leading academics‚ industrialists and entrepreneurs will give their personal perspectives on enterprise in the healthcare arena.
16 November, 9am – 6.30pm: Translational clinical research and its impact on society
Southampton’s leading investigators highlight recent translational clinical research successes and their positive impact on healthcare and our wider society. The Research Design Service will hold a lunchtime workshop on current funding opportunities and writing winning grant applications. The event concludes with the annual Wade Lecture given by Professor Pat Jacobs from the Wessex Regional Genetics Laboratory.
