The Southampton Welcome project was set up to create an outstanding introduction programme for all new starters 鈥� an experience that would be powerful, comprehensive and genuinely welcoming. With Welcome Weekend upon us (22-23 September), what is the project delivering this year?

鈥� A comprehensive Fresher鈥檚 Week schedule. See the programme here:
鈥� University Welcome talks 鈥� these will cover key induction topics such as health and safety and will include a welcome speech from a member of the senior management team.
鈥� Queue busting in Building 37 鈥� including the changes to the Atrium space e.g. new signage and people on hand to help answer questions and point students in the right direction.
鈥� A comprehensive Halls Pack 鈥� a set of information available to students on arrival.
