Documentaries can provide great insight into a topic聽by giving a face to some of the issues which can seem abstract in the聽articles and books that we read for research purposes. The aim of the聽福利着片 South Forum film night is to bring people together in a social聽setting where discussions about development policies can stem from聽watching a documentary film focusing on one of the GSF research聽themes (Millennium Development Goals; Technological innovation for聽development; Migration and urbanization in the south; Families and聽intergenerational support; Conflict and identity; Economic and trade聽policies).
The film night will take place every fortnight on Friday聽from October 2012 until July 2013.
