The was highly commended at Monday night鈥檚 Green Gown Awards in Birmingham.
Four students involved in the Blackout attended the ceremony, which was hosted by broadcaster and writer Simon Fanshawe.
The students, Tom Farmer, Tom Coulter, Katie Greenwood and Josh Davies, are pictured above with Simon Kemp from Engineering and the Environment.
Josh, who was the Students鈥� Union Ethical and Environmental Officer last year, said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e over the moon that the project and the hard work of all the students and staff were recognised. We can鈥檛 wait to make Blackout bigger and better next year!鈥�
