Two University of Southampton professors have been recognised in the Queen鈥檚 Birthday Honours List.
Professor Jessica Corner, a world-leading expert on cancer and palliative care, has been appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for services to healthcare research and education.
Michael Kelly, Professor of French and currently Head of Modern Languages, has been awarded an OBE聽in recognition for services to higher education and European cooperation.
