As part of a ten day residential visit to Johannesburg, post-doctoral students funded by the , will collaborate with leading students at the University of Witwatersrand as well as practitioners from leading health and environmental consultancies in the city.
The residential trip will provide a unique opportunity for students to exchange innovative research ideas, critically review research methods and to mobilise long-term international relations in research areas such as health and education, development policy and environmental management.
In addition, the students will visit a range of projects in and around the city, including a children’s orphanage and a leading HDA project looking at HIV prevalence.
