Student and library staff members of the Group meet weekly, for an hour each Wednesday afternoon. We work to enhance communications between students and the University Library, and to create a more effective rapport between the University Library and its users. We have revamped the and started . We ran a successful ; were instrumental in launching this and implemented the refresh of the Library Sussed tab.
Kim Matthews, a recent Graduate and member of the Group says 鈥淭eam working and communication skills were two aspects I feel that I developed through being in the group, but definitely also learnt more about working on a project within a team and also how to prioritise and manage my time! 鈥 Discussing my involvement in this project definitely helped me in my interview in my current job as I had not undertaken an internship and this gave me some practical experience to draw upon.鈥
If you are a regular University Library user, have some ideas about which services and resources you would like to see improved or changed, and ways in which we might do this, then please get in touch.
