The University has been awarded full approval by the Malaysia Qualifications Agency (MQA) to deliver its world-leading Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aeronautics and Astronautics programme in Malaysia.
The programme, dedicated to the science and engineering of aircraft, spacecraft and other aerodynamic systems, begins in September 2015 at the University鈥檚 Malaysia Campus in southern Johor.
The approval follows successful accreditation of Southampton鈥檚 MEng programmes in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering over the past three years. Both of these programmes are running successfully in Malaysia with the first group of students in Mechanical Engineering having made聽the transition from Malaysia to Southampton in the UK this autumn to start their third year of study as part of our Integrated International Engineering Education (IIEE) programme.
