Celebrating International Women’s Week

All around the world, International Women’s Day on 8 March represents an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women while calling for greater equality.

Every year in Southampton we draw together a week and more of events, mixing the informative, the reflective, the challenging and the celebratory.

The  features an exceptional range of activities devised by and for students and staff through various groups and networks. You can find talks, workshops, sports activities, serious business and plenty of fun stuff, including:

Secrets of stress-free life (12 March).  An uncomplicated guide to making stress your friend.  Ìý²¹²Ô»å .

Calling the shots (12 March). 50% of students at film school are female, yet only a tiny fraction later achieve technical or directing roles. Ìý²¹²Ô»å  for 12 March.
