The next Researchers鈥� Caf茅 will take place on Thursday 21 May from 15:30 to聽17:00聽in Building 34 (Education), room 2003, on聽Highfield campus.
The Researchers鈥� Caf茅 gives staff, students and members of the public the opportunity to hear about topical research issues and discuss them in an informal space.
This free event will feature three oceanography topics:
- 聽鈥楲ife and death in the marine planktonic world鈥� with Kyle Mayers
- 鈥楰rill poo 鈥� the carbon highway of the Southern Ocean?鈥� with Anna Belcher
- 鈥楾ime to bring Invasive Species off the Naughty Step?鈥� with Steven Bourne
Dr Tony Curran, who organises the The Researchers鈥� Caf茅, says:

This event will start with free tea and coffee as it follows on from the Celebrating Public Engagement conference聽(also free, still a few places left but sign up required).
