The is delighted to听invite staff and students听to an exhibition of听extraordinary pictures听created by听world class imaging activities at the University.
Computation is a core element of virtually all major imaging developments today and at this exhibition you will see images听that听no other method听could have captured.
All the images have been taken by听researchers as part of their projects, but the pictures on show are being presented with an emphasis on their artistic, rather than their scientific nature.
The event听will take place 6 鈥� 10 July, Observatory, Building 85; drinks reception 8 July 12:00 – 14:00
The exhibition听is organised every year by the听 (CII) University Strategic Research Group (USRG).
The images听will be on display all week, but at the听drinks reception on Wednesday听8 July听owners of each of the images will be on hand to explain the subject of the image, why听it听was taken,听its听significance听in relation to their research and how it was听created.
