A pop-up travelling exhibition called 鈥�Caravans & Charabancs: Leisure Motoring After The First World War鈥� is on display in the Hartley Library throughout September.
You’ll find the exhibits on聽Level 4 of the聽Library, on聽Highfield Campus from 09.00 to 21.00 until 21 September and then until midnight for the rest of the month.
The display, in partnership with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu and the Caravan Club,聽explores how social and technological changes during the First World War led to a revolution in leisure motoring.
The exhibition will run in conjunction with a writing competition inspired by a First World War commemorative project.
