Following their UK victory earlier this year, are now preparing to take students and alumni over to Johannesburg, South Africa, to聽represent the UK against teams from across the globe.
With over 200 members, Enactus Southampton is the largest Enactus team in the UK, using聽students’ energy and minds to set up social enterprises, empowering people both聽internationally and in local communities.
The national competition saw the team give a 17 minute presentation with their flagship international projects,聽 and Right Light, followed by a question and answer session from a panel of judges that included senior employees from this year’s main sponsor, .
Their聽team has been working hard聽over the summer since their success in聽the national聽competition to prepare for their聽presentation at the Enactus World Cup which takes place from 14 – 16聽October. 聽Some members of Enactus Southampton have additionally visited Kenya, where they worked with international charities and to franchise the models for their social enterprises SanEco and Right Light.
