The National Student Survey (NSS) is run every year at all UK Universities and is聽an聽opportunity for students to give their聽opinions on how well the University teaches and supports them, as well as commenting on things that they聽think should be improved.

The University uses your responses to the聽NSS to improve the student experience. Later this month, we will launch the 鈥淵ou Said, We Did鈥 website to show you how the University has used past feedback to improve your experience. The NSS will allow you reciprocate by helping us improve for future students.
The survey itself is conducted independently by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the National Health Service, and is fully supported by our Students鈥 Union聽and the National Union of Students.
You will聽be invited to fill in the survey from聽Monday 1 February 2016. You are eligible for the NSS if you are a final year undergraduate or are on a flexible part-time programme.聽 If your final year cannot be easily predicted, you will be surveyed during your fourth year of study. 聽If you were due to be in your final year in 2016, but have withdrawn or are repeating your penultimate year, you are also eligible to take part.
Initially, you will be emailed to inform you to fill in the survey. If you are unable to do so, you will be reminded with further emails and eventually phone calls from Ipsos Mori. We therefore encourage students to complete the survey as early as possible to avoid being sent further reminders.
