Congratulations to the individuals and teams who received awards for their contribution to the ‘Bringing Research to Life’ roadshow.

The awards were presented by Professor Judith Petts, Pro Vice-Chancellor Research and Enterprise at a ceremony on Highfield Campus on 18 November.
100 Southampton researchers were involved in the tour. The annual ‘Bringing Research to Life’ roadshow is co-ordinated by Dr Tony Curran and Dr Steve Dorney and affiliated to the .
The roadshow tours the country from February to September and research groups from across the University contribute a hands-on or media-based activity based on their work.
The aim is to have a dialogue with varied public audiences about the quality and significance of research taking place at Southampton. It also provides an experiential training ground for researchers to better explain their research to non-specialists.
