Congratulations to the individuals and teams who received聽awards for their contribution to the ‘Bringing Research to Life’ roadshow.
The awards were presented by聽Professor Judith Petts, Pro Vice-Chancellor Research and Enterprise at a ceremony聽on Highfield Campus on 18 November.
100 Southampton researchers were involved in the聽tour.聽 The annual 鈥楤ringing Research to Life鈥� roadshow is co-ordinated by Dr Tony Curran and Dr Steve Dorney and聽affiliated to the .
The roadshow tours the country from February to September and research groups聽from across the University聽contribute a hands-on or media-based activity based on their work.
The aim is to have聽a dialogue with varied public audiences about the quality and significance of research taking place at Southampton. It also provides an experiential training ground for researchers to better explain their research to non-specialists.
