The University has launched a WhatsApp service to help inform current students about relevant University news, events and opportunities.
In the recent Student Communications survey, 73% of students identify that they聽use instant messaging services daily. Following a three month beta-testing period with a handful of student volunteers, this service is now being opened to all current students.
The channel allows students to select which topics they receive updates about, with updates then being sent straight through to their phone.
Note that you will still receive vital information through email; however, we hope this is a convenient way for you to be in the loop and stay up-to-date.
