Research from the University has played a major role in a new report that highlights the importance of bioenergy in moving the UK towards a low carbon economy.

Overall the ETI report will inform policy decisions and shows that bioenergy is a flexible low carbon option for the UK that if deployed to meet 10 per cent of future energy demand, could cut聽55 million tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
