Twelve teams comprised of students and staff will compete in our own version of the popular TV quiz show in February 鈥� March 2016.
All are welcome to come along and watch. Both聽students and staff from across the University聽will be聽competing – which team will you support?
Team members from this year鈥檚 University Challenge team are writing the questions, including Tricia Goggin (team captain), Sarah Stock and Rowland Sadler, all pictured.
The competition will take place聽every Tuesday evening聽between 18:30 鈥� 20:00听蹿谤辞尘 2 February, culminating with the Final on聽Tuesday 15 March. Each event will take place聽in room 1089, building 2聽(Music L/T D), Highfield Campus.
The Final will be held at a different venue, and聽tickets will be available at a later date聽through Eventbrite.
Organiser Dr Tony Curran of the Public Engagement team says:
鈥淥ur competition will have a similar format to the TV show but questions will not be so highbrow! Our aim is for everyone involved to have fun 鈥� those taking part and those who come to watch.鈥�
