The University will showcase the real and positive impact it鈥檚 making on the policy and practice of health and healthcare with the launch of a new programme of public lectures today in London.
The first of these events, chaired by Professor Iain Cameron, Dean of Medicine, will be held at The King鈥檚 Fund from 17:00. This opening lecture in the series is focused on stimulating debate and discussion with an audience of stakeholders and influencers around Public Health with keynotes from:
- Simon Stevens, Chief Executive of NHS England who is responsible for The NHS published in October 2014 – 鈥楾he H in NHS鈥�
- Professor Sir Michael Marmot, Director of the Institute of Health Equity at University College London – 鈥極besity and inequalities in health鈥�
- , Director and Professor of Rheumatology at the University鈥檚 MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Unit – 鈥楾he Lifecourse Approach in Practice: From Evidence to Public Health Policy鈥�
Joining this group for a panel discussion on how the University is influencing public health and driving cross-sector collaboration are:
