The University is running a course for undergraduate students looking to develop their聽communication and engagement skills.
Communicating in an engaging manner can bring what you鈥檙e saying to life and make your audience take more of it in and remember it.
It will be delivered in two parts 鈥 learning/revising your communication skills in the classroom聽and then putting what you learn into practice by taking part in one of the University鈥檚 public engagement events, such as those run by the聽Bringing Research to Life Roadshow.聽 Look at聽聽for further information and a provisional list of dates and events for 2016.
This course is aimed at undergraduates of all years; it is particularly recommended for those in their second year (and聽third聽year of 4 year degrees). Module coordinators and personal tutors are requested to recommend this course to their students as an opportunity for them to enhance their skillset and to meet like-minded individuals.
