Preparations are underway for the inaugural Festival of Doctoral Research, running from 12 鈥� 27 May. Targeted mainly at the postgraduate research community, the Festival will celebrate and showcase the University鈥檚 world-class doctoral research.
‘Opposites Attract’ Collaboration Challenge
鈥極pposites Attract鈥� will pair up doctoral researchers from different areas to collaborate and produce an聽output for the Festival e.g. a blog, poster, video, hands-on activity or display, proposal for further research. Successful pairs will be supported with training and up to 拢200 to produce their output.
Students who are interested in taking part can apply before 17:00 on Friday 11 March on the .
Doctoral Researcher Image Competition聽and Exhibition
Focussing on聽a theme which is commonly associated with the doctoral experience, postgraduate researchers are invited to show, through one image, what ‘resilience’ in research聽means to them. by 17:00 on Monday 4 April for a chance to win one of two 拢50 vouchers and be part of the Festival exhibition.

Presenting an engaging lecture聽along with聽two workshops, Francesco will explore the theme: ‘Reaching your full potential: the power of wonder’.聽Francesco said:
