Ìýwill beÌýholding their inaugural industryÌýshowcase on Tuesday 11 October 2016 fromÌý09:00 –Ìý17:00 at Highfield Campus.
Featuring speakers and displays from the aerospace, maritime, transport, energy, environment and healthcare sectors, the industry showcase will attract key playersÌýfrom acrossÌýthe sensing and monitoring of engineered and natural systems industries.

MENSUS is a new initiative centred at the University that focuses on system condition monitoring technology and applications.
There areÌýfive key themes in MENSUS which cover system characterisation, sensors & devices, energy harvesting, big data & analytics and system integration. MENSUS brings together and leverages the strong interdisciplinary expertise from the University to tackle the system-wide challenges encountered by many industrial sectors. The goal of the initiative is to become an international centre of excellence withinÌýfive years (2020).
The day will be split into two parts with the morning providing an overview and speakers from the Government and funding bodies such as the Ìý(EPSRC). The afternoon willÌýhave a more technical focus with talks from MENSUS theme leaders and key note speakers. There will also be demonstrations, lab tours, trade stands and posters throughout the day and the event will close with a drinks reception.
