The fourth lecture of our Health and Healthcare series will take place today, Wednesday 5 October at the Wellcome Collection, London from 17:15.

The event will focus on cancer research and aftercare, an area in which the University is conducting pioneering research, particularly in the field of . Our discoveries are moving from the laboratory into clinical trials, where they are already making a world of difference to people with cancer.
The lecture will include keynotes from:
- , Emeritus Professor of Oncology at the University of Cambridge and former director of the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute.
- , CBE, Professor of Medical Oncology within Medicine at the University of Southampton and Chief Clinician for Cancer Research UK.
- , Professor of Radiation Oncology and Biology, University of Oxford.
The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion hosted by:
- , Professor of Experimental Oncology at the University of Southampton.
