The Business School is launching a new series of monthly evening seminars featuring a variety of speakers from industry and academia, who will explore today’s current business issues and share unique insight and research findings.

Designed to inspire staff, students and academics to think differently and approach business challenges in new ways, the seminars are free of charge and refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome to attend.

30 November: . Hosted in partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), this seminar will explore the role of business in meeting the UN’s ¸£Àû×ÅÆ¬ Goals for Sustainable Development.
25 January:Ìý Innovation is critical to the sustainability and survival of every organisation, but research shows that most organisations aren’t very good at it. Associate Professor of Innovation, , discusses how to foster innovation at your organisation by encouraging a change in attitude and developing a supportive culture. 28 February:Ìý Business strategy and its development is often thought of as a function or activity. But in reality, it’s a leadership tool that every senior manager should be equipped with. Jeff Callander, EMA Consulting Group will demonstrate how setting relevant, customer-focussed strategies is crucial for ensuring employees are engaged and contributing to the achievement of the goals.
