One of the first projects to gain funding from the University’s was the installation of a swimming pool cover聽in the Jubilee Sports Centre.
In order to minimise the loss of heat from the swimming pool, a cover was installed in 2012.
As a result of this project and the hard work of sports centre staff, the cover has continued to deliver an impressive estimated annual saving of approximately 181,000kWh, 拢5,000 and 35 tonnes/CO2.
