The Careers and Employability team are pleased to announce that students and staff across the University have been shortlisted for an unprecedented six .

Held annually, this prestigious event celebrates outstanding achievements of all those involved in undergraduate work experience, with UK students, employers and universities competing for recognition.

Most Improved Commitment to Employability

Outstanding Contribution to Work Experience
- Ann Cooper, Head of Placements and Work Experience. Ann has been instrumental in improving our students’ graduate prospects and developing the Employer Engagement team who deliver hundreds of beneficial work experience opportunities each year.
Best Collaboration between a University and Employer
- University of Southampton and Grosvenor Britain and Ireland, have previously won an, and now the NUE Awards nomination has brought further national recognition. A collaboration between the School of Geography, Careers and Employability and Grosvenor, this partnership explored how Grosvenor could engage with academia and undergraduate employability within Geography.
Best Small to Medium-Sized Employer
- a Southampton Science Park based organisation who has long engaged with the University; from hosting student interns through the Excel Southampton Internship Programme as well as delivering talks and employing graduates.
