The Careers and Employability team are pleased to announce that students and staff across the University have been shortlisted for an unprecedented six .
Held annually, this prestigious event celebrates outstanding achievements of all those involved in undergraduate work experience, with UK students, employers and universities competing for recognition.

Outstanding Contribution to Work Experience
- Ann Cooper, Head of Placements and Work Experience. Ann has been instrumental in improving our students鈥� graduate prospects and developing the Employer Engagement team who deliver hundreds of beneficial work experience opportunities each year.
Best Collaboration between a University and Employer
- University of Southampton and Grosvenor Britain and Ireland, have previously won聽an, and now the NUE Awards nomination has brought further national recognition. A collaboration between the School of Geography, Careers and Employability and Grosvenor, this partnership explored how Grosvenor could engage with academia and undergraduate employability within Geography.
Best Small to Medium-Sized Employer
- a Southampton Science Park based organisation聽who has long engaged with the University; from hosting student interns聽through the聽Excel Southampton Internship Programme as well as delivering talks and employing graduates.
