The Gift of Sight Appeal, which support world-class research into the prevention and treatment of blindness, will be holding a lecture entitled: Beating Blindness on Wednesday 26 April from 18:30 – 20:00 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Chilworth, SO16 3NG.
leads a team of clinicians and scientists at the Vision Science Research laboratories within the University’s Clinical Neurosciences Division, where research is combined with treating patients in the Southampton Eye Unit. This enables the team to bring insights from the research laboratory directly to patients.

Following the success of previous lectures, Professor Lotery and his colleagues will provide an update on the latest research projects and clinical trials relating to blinding eye diseases.
