Filippo Lorenzon, a Professor of Maritime and Commercial Law, will be the main speaker at an event in Paris on Friday 7 April.
Entitled: ‘Risks in International Trade’, Filippo will be giving a talk on the subject of international commercial contracts.

Filippo is a Member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) (UK) Commission for Commercial Law and Practice and is currently involved in the review process which will lead to a set of sales terms which guide international trading deals called the Incoterms® 2020 Rules.
is hosted by the ICC, sponsored by Campbell Johnston Clark Ltd and supported by the University of Southampton French Alumni Association.
There will be contributions from: David Fairbairn, CSSA Chartering and Shipping Services SA; Charles de Corbière, SCP Villenau Rohart Simon & Associés and Tunde Ogunseitan, International Court of Arbitration.
The talk will be followed by networking drinks and the launch of Filippo’s latest book; ‘Sassoon: CIF & FOB Contracts, 6th edn‘ (London, 2017) published by Sweet & Maxwell.
The event will be hosted in the Paris office of the ICC, 33-43 avenue du Président Wilson, 75116, Paris.
