Careers and Employability are pleased to be hosting the first university-wide employability conference on WednesdayÌý17 May 2017.
This half-day event will reflect on the changing climate and culture of employability, including the potential impact of league table positioning, the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and changes to the Destination of LeaversÌýfrom High Education (DLHE) survey.

The keynote speaker will be Doug Cole (Head of ¸£Àû×ÅÆ¬ Employability and Enterprise), who plans to share new thinkingÌýon theÌýways in which employability can be repositionedÌýas central to learning.
A series of concise and inspiring presentations by academic colleagues will outline the strategic direction for employability within the University, providing a showcase for good practice and promoting strategies for embedding employability within the curriculum.
There will be an opportunity to debate, reflect on progress and develop action plans for the future.
This event will be helpful for those with an interest in employability and the student experience, and for those responsible for programme design and validation.
