Are you an enthusiastic writer聽looking to make聽the most of your time at University?
We’re聽searching for a new team of student bloggers to write for , the blog aimed聽at anyone who may be interested in student life here in Southampton, particularly prospective students.
Offering readers聽an inside view of the University聽from a student’s perspective, previous blog posts have ranged from tips on studying, budgeting and travelling locally or abroad, to reviews for events and general information about different aspects of student life in Southampton.
Students from any subject or background can apply – the most important thing is your flair for telling stories about your life!
We are currently looking for students who will be continuing to study at Southampton during the 2017-18 academic year.
This is a paid position and requires you to write two posts every month of least 500 words each. You will also need to edit your posts before final submission, following feedback from your editor. You will need to meet deadlines, think creatively and manage blog work around your studies and extra-curricular activities.
This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate and develop your communication skills, and makes a great addition to any portfolio and CV.

- Subject of study
- Sample of your writing: this should be a blog post which you would consider submitting if you were one of our bloggers. It should be around 500 words long, and can be of any genre or subject matter 鈥� as long as it鈥檚 relevant, engaging and interesting! It should be attached to your email as a Word document, and must be your own original work.
