The University of Southampton and the are delighted to聽celebrate 鈥楩oster Care Fortnight鈥� with an event organised in collaboration with on Wednesday 17 May 2017 from 13:00 鈥� 15:00 in Room 5025, Building 54.
If you have ever considered fostering, or wanted to discover more, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn all about the role of the foster carer and the positive impact it has on transforming the lives of everyone involved.
A team of experts including a social worker and a foster carer will be presenting their real life experiences and answering questions about fostering and there will also be an opportunity to speak one-to-one with a representative from the Council鈥檚 Foster Carer Recruitment Team.
Lunch will be provided at this event, which is part of a national campaign to raise awareness and understanding of fostering.
