This month, the University will implement the agreed outcomes of the 2017-18 national negotiating round, effective 1 August 2017. Changes will be reflected in salaries received at the end of August.
This year’s agreed settlement increases all Level 1-7 spinal points by 1.70%, save for spinal points 2 to 16 where larger increases apply (of between 1.72% and 2.43%). Any other payments and allowances that are linked to ‘cost of living’ awards will increase by 1.70%.
