iSolutions Business Relationship Manager,聽Jeremy Webb is聽safely back in the UK聽after circumnavigating the GB coastline in support of聽the and Honeypot Children’s Charity.

The team secured more than 拢5,000 for charity and helped raised awareness for the Cancer Immunology Campaign.

The聽adventure spanned 2,400 miles (1,400 nautical miles),聽took 38 days, three hours and three minutes to complete helping them become the聽3rd fastest crew to complete the challenge.
The four-man crew (original聽member, Claire,聽pulled out because of injury)聽lived in two cabins with a bucket for a toilet. They enjoyed聽a聽wealth of wildlife throughout the trip including聽dolphins, minke whale,聽puffins, cormorants, gannets and seals.
Rough times聽along the way included a聽3-day patch of bad weather in the North Sea聽which saw them living in wet weather gear, battling 25mph winds and nine metre high waves, to travel 1.5 miles in 1.5 hours to reach the safety of Eigg harbour, off聽Scotland’s west coast.
Despite the low points,聽they kept their sense of humour.聽Jeremy explains:
“All of us suffered from聽hallucinations caused by a combination of seasickness tablets and tiredness. Rhys imagined he saw聽a dalmation whale and then struck up a conversation with a one-armed man sitting on the side of the boat, much to our amusement!”
Jeremy encourages others to follow their dreams:
“It doesn’t matter what the challenge is, I would say if you really want to do something, just have the courage to go out and do it. Don’t be scared of the unknown, it’s never as scary as you imagine it to be!”
