The theme of the conference is 鈥楲atin American Studies Around the World鈥� and聽the聽organising committee is based in the Politics and International Relations Department at the University.
The SLAS聽is one of the leading Latin American studies organisations in the world and聽attracts several hundred scholars and students聽to their annual conferences.
It will聽be the聽first time that the SLAS holds one of its聽high profile professional meetings聽at the University.聽The event聽will offer聽a unique opportunity for Southampton聽to showcase its strengths in Latin American Studies, as well as聽encourage collaborations with colleagues in line with our internationalisation聽goals.
