It is with great sadness that we inform staff and students of the passing of Tony Bowers, a valued colleague and member of staff from the University鈥檚 Print Centre.
Tony passed away over the recent holiday period. His funeral will be held on聽Wednesday 24 January and the Print Centre will be closed all day to allow his close colleagues to pay their respects.
Tony was one of the longest serving members of iSolutions with almost 37 years of dedicated service. His colleagues were delighted to present him with a long service award last year.
Ian Wilcox, the University鈥檚 Design and Printing Services Manager said:
鈥淲orking with Tony was always a good experience. He loved what he did and he felt that what he did in printing all of the various documents聽really added to University life. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.鈥�
Our thoughts go out to Tony鈥檚 family and close friends at this very sad time.
