Researchers from across the University and the NHS are invited to the first Cardiovascular Research Afternoon, taking place from 14:30 – 16:00聽on Tuesday 3聽July聽at Southampton General Hospital.

The event, hosted by Dr Michael Mahmoudi and Dr Nicola Englyst, is open to anyone with a current or future interest in cardiovascular research from across all Faculties and the NHS.
With a focus on interdisciplinary research, the hosts would particularly welcome individuals who are looking to work with people from other fields,聽to create novel and innovative ideas for future funding applications.
A great opportunity to also meet with contemporaries within the field,聽over refreshments there will be the opportunity to network with other attendees.
There will also be a poster session to showcase current research from around the University and NHS.
