In reply to audidave245. What about visitors needing to use the Visitors car park on Salisbury road on the 25th June? Can they access it coming from Burgess road and turning right from University road?

In reply to audidave245. Thanks for the confirmation, time to beat them round the head with more reports via www.fixmystreet.com as that's got a publicly accessible data map of already reported issues so they can't hide their failure to act, unlike the SCC in house on-line form...

In reply to John Neil. John, Not yet is the answer regarding Southampton City correcting defects elsewhere on University Road and Salisbury Road, which they maintain. The defects on Salisbury Road have repeatedly been reported to SCC and a promise made to take action soon. It won't be as part of the resurfacing works unfortunately. Dan H

A bit more information: The closure points on University Road will be immediately South of Highfield Health between 21st and 26th and immediately South of "Admin Road" at B37 on 27th and 28th June. No works are proposed on University Road North of that point and that part of University Road will remain open throughout.
