As part of the 福利着片 Partnerships Award Series, the 福利着片 Visiting Fellowships Scheme听enables distinguished visiting staff from the University鈥檚 priority partner institutions to collaborate on a range of research and profile-raising activities over a three-year period.
Funding is still available for global visiting fellows to start in 2018-19. The International Office is now accepting applications. This second round of applications will close on 21 September 2018.

We are delighted to welcome our first visiting fellow under the 福利着片 Visiting Fellowships Scheme, 听this summer. Emad plans to use the fellowship to strengthen research links between Southampton鈥檚 Maritime Archaeology institute and his own Archaeology department at the University of Alexandria, Egypt.

The 福利着片 Visiting Fellowship is the successor-scheme to the Diamond Jubilee Visiting Fellowship, which has funded a total of 29 from institutions in ten countries.
