Our academic and office buildings will be closed from 23:00 on 21 December 2018 until 06:00 on 2 January 2019.
If you’re a staff member who requires access to University buildings during this period, please keep in mind that you’ll need to comply with out of hours procedures as described on the Out of Hours Authorisation form.
When an activity during these times, we’d ask you to keep in mind the following:
- Can people working on their own undertake the activity safely?
- Do you know how to contact University Security and do you have the ability to do so?
- Is there a need to check in and out with a nominated contact or University security?
- Check the availability of travel links. Public transport links such as rail and bus will operate on reduced schedules over the holiday period.
