Nineteen leading academics from our University have joined The Alan Turing Institute as Fellows.
The Fellows are all established scholars with proven research excellence in data science, artificial intelligence or a related field drawn from our University, including mathematics, computer science, medicine, ocean and earth sciences, physics, electronics and other disciplines.
Dame Wendy Hall congratulates Southampton’s new Turing Fellows.
They will work across the Institute’s different research challenges and will bring to the Institute specific projects covering topics from machine learning for space physics to AI and inclusion. They will also contribute to the activities and training at the core of the Institute’s mission and the ongoing development of the next generation of researchers.
