Huawei鈥檚 鈥楽eeds for the Future鈥� Programme is a fantastic opportunity for UK undergraduate STEM students to explore China on a four-week work experience programme in August 2019.
Students will firstly spend two weeks in Beijing experiencing Chinese culture and receiving Mandarin language training from one of Beijing鈥檚 best universities. There will be group tours to The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, The Great Wall of China and 2008 Olympic Park.
At Huawei鈥檚 HQ, Shenzhen, students will then spend the remaining two weeks receiving technical training from some of the finest professionals in the industry, and will visit Huawei鈥檚 F1 Exhibition Centre; Enterprise Exhibition Hall; Logistics Centre; R&D labs and one of Huawei鈥檚 state-of-the-art factory facilities.
Huawei will cover all visa, accommodation and travel costs for successful applicants, and an allowance for sundry living expenses will also be provided.
Applications close on Sunday 3聽February 2019.

鈥淚鈥檝e had a few friends who have talked to me about it and I鈥檝e said you have to do it, you get over to China for four weeks and see what they鈥檙e doing there in terms of business which is something you never really get as an undergraduate. It just opens your options up and really gives you an idea of what is out there.鈥�
