On the library’s , in addition to the , there is now a . This is a step-by-step guide to help you write a dissertation, from starting to think about your question, through to final submission. At each stage you will find useful tips and support and you can save your work and return to the planner at any time.
Throughout February and March, undergraduate students are invited to attend a series of ‘Writing the Dissertation’ workshops. This series will help you to break the dissertation down into digestible portions, guiding you through the various chapters or sections. The sessions are as follows:
- The Literature Review
- The Methods or Methodology
- The Results and Discussion
- The Introduction and Conclusion

The Library has also secured an upgrade to ProQuest Dissertations & Theses ¸£Àû×ÅÆ¬ (PQDT). This new access to PQDT will give you full text access to over four million inter-disciplinary dissertations and theses from across the globe.
