Students from all disciplines are invited to聽join a distinguished line of volunteers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to improve recycling at our University.
The highly anticipated Waste Wars is back for its 13th聽year on聽Wednesday 6 March聽and there are 100 volunteer places available. You can reserve your place through the Waste Wars聽.
Every year, a motivated group of our students and staff work together to audit waste from our campuses and calculate how much we鈥檙e recycling.聽The data tells us how well we鈥檙e doing against our goals and helps us to develop ideas for improvements at the University.
The event will take place at the Boiler House, Wessex Lane Halls, starting at聽13:45. A special Waste Wars bus will leave from the Highfield Campus聽interchange at聽13:30.
