Following our recap of Science and Engineering Day, we’ve put together an to give a flavour of the day’s exciting activities.
We welcomed staff, students, family, friends and members of the public to come along to join us for the day to explore the inspiring research and learning that goes on right here at our University.
Professor Rachel Mills, Dean of 聽Environmental and Life Sciences said:

As part of the event, Dr Lucy Green, Associate Professor in Developmental Physiology, organised for A level students from Peter Symonds College in Winchester to attend as health reporters. They were tasked with producing short five minute films around top Southampton stories in science and medicine.
Lucy said:
鈥淭hese students are the doctors, scientists, journalists and policy-makers of the future, and possibly future parents. So who better to tell some of these health-related science stories? I鈥檓 really excited to see what they come up with鈥�.
