Well, it’s actually an Ancient Greek God, in which they had a variety of both “Male” and “Female” figures. Replace Atlas with say, Aphrodite or Hera? Would that have been more fitting? It would really just fit just the same. Atlas just fit the architectural style of the building with a twist, and looks pretty neat – a God to hold up the sky is holding up the roof. It doesn’t have any connotation to “White supremacy”. You are reading way way too much into it and just hating it for the sake of controversy. You are fighting the wrong fight here – maybe turn it against business and corporations in ensuring equality of income and treatment instead of attacking a figure which has historical connotation both Ancient and modern.
